SEO settings (search & share visibility)
In a site's SEO tab, configure how it appears in search engines and when shared on social media.
- Whole site — Default title, description, share image (OpenGraph)
- Per page — Title, description, and canonical URL for each page
- Map location — Your organization's location for embedded Google Maps
Writing good titles and descriptions improves how you appear in search results.
Publishing (deploying) a site
To make your site visible to visitors, you must publish (deploy) it. Do this in the site's Settings tab.
- Activate the site.
- Choose the publishing address (initial subdomain) and deploy.
- When the deployment readiness (connection, certificate, etc.) shows complete, it's live.
After publishing, editing a page requires saving and publishing again for changes to reach visitors.
Connecting a domain
To publish on your organization's domain (e.g. www.yourhospital.com), connect a domain.
- See all domains across active sites under Settings → Domains.
- A site must be deployed first before you can add a custom domain.
- After adding a domain, its connection (DNS) and security certificate (TLS) status are shown.
- You can designate a primary domain.
If DNS configuration is required, follow the instructions, or ask your administrator if it's difficult.
